Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) is one of the most effective ways to remove suspended solids (TSS), biochemical oxygen demand (BOD5), fats, oils, and grease (FOG), phosphorus (P) or nutrients from industrial wastewaters. Our engineered systems provide intelligent and reliable solutions for various wastewater and water streams.
Dissolved Air Flotation is based on a physical/chemical process where air is injected into the water stream. With chemical assistance, particles and flocks float to the surface. This floating sludge layer is automatically and continuously removed by a scraper mechanism, producing effluent virtually free of TSS and FOG.
