The Medical Oxygen Gas Plant is an advanced automatic system designed to extract high-purity oxygen directly from the air. Utilizing Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology, the system operates based on the selective adsorption properties of zeolite molecular sieves.
The generator consists of two adsorption towers filled with molecular sieves. Under pressure, the sieves adsorb nitrogen molecules while allowing oxygen molecules to pass through and accumulate in the buffer tank. While one tower performs adsorption, the other regenerates by releasing the trapped nitrogen back into the atmosphere. This continuous cycle, controlled by a Siemens PLC, ensures a steady supply of oxygen.
