PSA Operating Principle

The generator consists of two adsorption towers filled with molecular sieves. Under pressure, the sieves adsorb nitrogen molecules while allowing oxygen molecules to pass through and accumulate in the buffer tank. While one tower performs adsorption, the other regenerates by releasing the trapped nitrogen back into the atmosphere. This continuous cycle, controlled by a Siemens PLC, ensures a steady supply of oxygen.
